About Coaching
Are you a current or former educator with a passion for supporting the wellbeing of educators? We invite you to apply to become an Educator Wellness Coach!
Requirements
-
Attendance at an in-person 1.5 day training
-
Bachelor’s degree in an education-related field
-
Experience in the educational field
-
Ability to work effectively with educators of diverse cultures

Able to dedicate 30 hours per “coachee,” which includes:

Pre-coaching setup
-
Coaching sessions (minimum 1 per month)

Post-coaching follow-up
-

A commitment to continuously improving coaching techniques through professional development by attending Cohort Conversations (hosted by Opportunity Thrive), once per month
-
Ability to utilize virtual platforms to facilitate coaching
Expectations
-
Design, prepare, and maintain individual coaching/wellness plans
-
Develop and implement creative, organized, and engaging sessions with coachees
-
Differentiated coaching to support educators in this learning process
-
Appropriately assess and evaluate coachees in their growth/progress

Actively collaborate with your coaching cohort
-
Maintain confidentiality of coachees and their stories
-
Attend and actively participate in professional development activities on coaching
-
Other additional responsibilities as assigned by Coaching Supervisor
