Betty Rosen-Leacher is a seasoned educator specializing in wellness coaching, resilience, vulnerability, and climate and culture. With over 20 years of experience in education, Betty has contributed significantly to the growth and development of students, faculty, and staff.

Betty holds various academic qualifications, including an Elementary & Secondary Administrative Certification from Madonna University, a Master of Arts in Teacher Education from Marygrove College, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. She has also completed numerous educational leadership and administration certification programs, such as Leadership Matters with the Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, SUPES Academy at the Michigan Leadership Institute, and Courageous Journey at the Michigan Association of School Administrators. Furthermore, she completed Diversity Coach Training with the Coach Diversity Institute.

Betty has served in several roles throughout her career, including middle school teacher, at-risk instructor, instructional coach, curriculum director, assistant superintendent, and building principal. She is Vice President of the Milan Area Schools Board of Education. Betty retired from Saline Area Schools as a building principal in 2020 and continues making significant contributions to education. She is also an accomplished speaker, sharing her expertise and insights with colleagues.

As an Educator Wellness Coach and Speaker with Opportunity Thrive, Betty provides one-on-one coaching to educators, facilitates training of new coaches, and leads small group cohorts of coaches throughout the year to support their ongoing learning, giving space for them to connect on common challenges, and learn from their coaching. Betty's coaching philosophy emphasizes active listening, which makes her particularly gifted as a coach. She is passionate about guiding other educators on their journey toward health and wholeness while valuing diversity, inclusivity, and equity.
