Amber Fox, LMSW

Training Facilitator:
Staff Resilience and Wellbeing

Amber’s passion is to support individuals return home to their truest, most authentic selves and to find peace and wholeness in all areas of their lives. With over 20 years of experience in education and nonprofit work focused on mental health advocacy, staff development and retention, building healthy workplace cultures, facilitation, and direct service, she’s dedicated to expanding Opportunity Thrive’s reach to increase the resiliency of educators and non-profit professionals, those most at risk for burnout and compassion fatigue.

She is a Licenced Master’s Social Worker and has completed the foundations of coaching from Co-Active Institute. Amber uses a wide range of approaches with individuals, groups and teams as both a coach and a counselor, including mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the enneagram, somatics, ecotherapy, self-compassion, trauma-informed practices, and more.

Amber has served as an educator wellness coach through Opportunity Thrive since 2020 and was a member of the pilot development team. In addition to coaching, she facilitates training in both schools and nonprofit organizations and has a private practice, supporting individuals in developing greater resilience and self-love. It is her hope that through our own personal work and strengthening workplace cultures, collectively we will be more capable of sharing our unique gifts and offer safe and nurturing environments for some of the most vulnerable members of our communities.
